Privacy notice
Who this portal is for
The portal is an internal workspace for approved staff of the Directorate of Planning, Research and ICT. Only accounts approved by the portal administrator can sign in.
What we hold
Your name and work email address from the account you sign in with (Google or email and password); your role and reporting line; the applications you may open and your favourites; the work you plan and record: subtasks, time entries, notes, blockers and evidence files; and an automatic history of administrative changes (who did what, when).
Why
To give you access to directorate applications, to plan and track work against HESLB’s approved plans, and to let supervisors and management see progress and effort within their reporting line. The portal is not used for advertising or profiling.
Who can see it
Your own work is visible to you, to your supervisors in the reporting line maintained by the administrator, and to Directors and administrators. Data is not shared outside HESLB except with the providers that host the portal on our behalf.
Where it is kept
Data is stored in a secure cloud database and file store operated for HESLB (Supabase), and the site is served through Netlify. Data travels encrypted. The app installed from an app store is the same website; it does not store your data on the device beyond what the browser needs to keep you signed in.
How long
Records are kept for as long as they are needed for planning, reporting and audit under HESLB’s retention rules. Removing a staff member’s access ends their ability to sign in; their past work stays in the history.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 of Tanzania you may ask to see, correct or delete the personal data held about you, subject to HESLB’s record-keeping obligations. Requests and questions go to the portal administrator at benedicto.cosmas@dprict.com.
Cookies
The portal uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your appearance settings. There is no third-party tracking.
